Sangareddy: Sanagreddy Rural Police have seized a huge quantity of the Gutkha and tobacco products from a godown at Vidyanagar Road number 3 near Poythireddypally junction in Sangareddy town on Friday late evening.
Speaking to news reporters on Saturday, DSP Sanagreddy A Balaji said that the Rural Police have found that the godown is owned by the Renuka Traders.
Saying that the Gutkha brought from Karnataka State, the DSP said that Inspector Shivalingam and SI Subhash along with their teams have raided the godown on Friday evening following a tip-off. The cost of entire seized tobacco products was put at Rs 7 lakhs.
The Police have registered a case against Manikya and Anjaneyulu, owners of Renuka Traders.
