Sangareddy: Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj called upon citizens to celebrate the Holi festival in a peaceful way.
Greeting the citizens on the eve of festival on Thursday, the SP asked the youth not to venture into water bodies in a festive mood. He also cautioned the youth not to throw colours on persons who were not known to them. Paritosh also warned the youth of stern action if they indulged in rash and negligent driving.
The SP suggested to the parents keep a watch on their children’s activities during the festivities on Friday. He said additional forces would be deployed at sensitise places to ensure the citizens celebrate the festival in a peaceful manner. Paritosh called upon the people to seek the help of police by dialing 100 if any situation arose.
