Sangareddy: An entire family of three committed suicide at Vandanapuri Colony under Ameenpur Police Station limits. Though the incident happened two or three days ago, it came to light on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as Srikanth Goud (42), his wife Anamika (40) and their only daughter Snigdha (7). While Srikanth Goud was found hanging from the ceiling, Anamika and Snigdha were found on the floor. The police suspect the two may have consumed poison.
Neighbours alerted the police when foul smell emanated from the house. The bodies were shifted to Area Hospital Patancheru for postmortem. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
