Sangareddy: Two persons were mowed by a truck on NH-65 at Isnapur under Patancheru Police Station limits on Thursday afternoon.
The victims, Venugopal Raju (27) and Sathish Kumar (28), residents of Hanuman Nagar in Isnapur, were on their way back home on a two-wheeler after buying some groceries at a store in RC Puram. When they were just a km away from home, a truck hit them. They were rushed to Area Hospital Patancheru where the doctors declared them brought dead.
Though one of them was wearing a helmet, he died as he suffered multiple injuries. Following a complaint lodged by Sathish’s wife Hema Saipriya, the Patancheru police registered a case. SI Rama Naidu said the truck driver’s negligent driving was the cause of the accident.
