Sangareddy: A vegetable vendor, who was returning home on his two-wheeler, died when his motorcycle hit a culvert and fell off it on the outskirts of Kandi in Sangareddy district on Saturday night.
The victim was identified as Kammari Shiva Kumar (31), a resident of Kavalampet. According to his wife Swapna, Shiva Kumar left for the vegetable market in Kandi on Saturday evening to sell vegetables, but did not return home.
She said they couldn’t reach him over the mobile phone too.
While searching for him, she said they found Kumar’s body down the culvert between Kandi and Kaulampet on Sunday morning.
Since the bike fell on him, Kumar died on the spot.
The Sangareddy Rural Police have registered a case.
The body was taken to Government Hospital Sangareddy for postmortem.
