Sangareddy: A woman passenger was robbed of Rs 1 lakh in cash and three grams of gold while she was travelling in an RTC Bus from Sadasivapet to Sangareddy on Monday morning.
The victim Vijayalakshmi of Nizampur, along with her husband and daughter, boarded the bus to go to Hyderabad. When the bus reached Nandikandi, Vijayalakshmi searched for money to purchase bus tickets, but she could not find the cash in the bag. When she alerted the driver and conductor of the bus, they straight away drove to Sangareddy Rural Police station where they checked each and every passenger on the bus, but they could not find the missing cash and gold.
However, Vijayaakshmi alleged that one woman passenger has got down at Nandikandi whom she was suspecting. The police were going through the CCTV camera footage to identify the culprits.
