Sangareddy: Jinnaram Police have arrested a minor boy and the farmhouse owner on Thursday in connection with the misfire of an airgun that claimed the life of a four-year-old girl Sanvi on Wednesday at Vavilala village in Jinnaram Mandal.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Patancheru DSP Bheem Reddy said the 17-year-old boy, a relative of Shanvi, came to the farmhouse to spend a few days with the family. While the boy was holding the airgun, it went off as it was loaded with a pellet. The farm house owner was arrested for his negligence in storing the airgun and the airgun was seized. A case was registered following the complaint from Shanvi’s parents Nagaraju and Sukanya. Patancheru Inspector N Venugugopal Reddy, Jinnaram SI Siddiramulu and others were present.
