Sanjay Jaju is the New CS, Ramakrishna Rao appointed as Advisor

The Telangana government has officially appointed 1992-batch IAS officer Sanjay Jaju as the state's new Chief Secretary, succeeding K. Ramakrishna Rao, who will transition into an advisory role in the CMO upon his June 30 retirement

Hyderabad: The State government on Friday issued orders appointing 1991 batch IAS officer Sanjay Jaju as the new Chief Secretary. He is replacing 1991 batch officer K Ramakrishna Rao, who is attaining superannuation on June 30. He is appointed as Advisor and Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to Chief Minister.

Sanjay Jaju is also given the additional charge as Special Chief Secretary of Industries, Commerce and ITE&C departments, besides Special Chief Secretary and CEO Industry and Investment Cell in the Chief Minister’s Office. He has been in Central government service since 2014 after serving as the GHMC Commissioner and Civil Supplies Commissioner in the past.


Sanjay Jaju’s service lasts till February 2029.
