Hyderabad: Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Limited has donated a bus which will serve as a vital resource for transporting rural poor patients from remote villages to Sankara Eye Hospital, Hyderabad, for free eye surgeries.
The hospital conducts regular outreach camps in underserved areas, offering eye check-ups and identifying patients who require advanced care. This bus will ensure seamless access to the hospital, facilitating life-changing treatments for those in need, a press release said.
A delegation from Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Limited comprising V. Suryanarayanan, Managing Director, Ashish Hallan, president and COO, S. Venugopalan, Chief Financial Officer, Gannamraju Viswamohan, Unit Head Sankara Eye Hospital Hyderabad, participated in the official handing over of the bus.
