Sankara Eye Hospital marks 3rd anniversary with nearly 12,000 free surgeries
Sankara Eye Hospital celebrated its third anniversary by announcing nearly 12,000 free surgeries for underprivileged patients. The hospital continues to provide quality eye care services while expanding outreach efforts across rural and underserved communities in Telangana.

Hyderabad: On the occasion of its third anniversary, city-based Sankara Eye Hospital announced that it has performed 11,953 free surgeries for underprivileged patients apart from conducting a total of 2,659 paying in-patient surgeries.
Dr Simakurthy Sriram of Sankara Hospitals, in a function organised to mark the anniversary, said: “We aim to reach those who otherwise have limited or no access to eye care. The milestone of nearly 12,000 free surgeries reflects the tireless efforts of our outreach teams”.
Senior doctors and other dignitaries, who participated in the event, commended the hospital team for delivering quality eye care services, particularly to rural and underserved communities across Telangana. Chukkapalli Avinash, Director of Phoenix Group and others were present.
