Sankranti: ECoR to run special trains from Vizag to Secunderabad
Visakhapatnam: East Coast Railway will introduce festival special trains to clear passenger rush during Sankranti. Visakhapatnam: East Coast Railway will introduce festival special trains to clear passenger rush during Sankranti. Accordingly, train no. 08579 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad weekly special train will leave Visakhapatnam on Wednesdays at 7 pm from January 5 to February 23 to reach Secunderabad on the next day at 7 am.
In the return direction, train no. 08580 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special will leave Secunderabad on Thursdays at 7.40 pm to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 6.40 am The trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Vijayawada, Guntur, Miryalaguda and Sattenapalle en route. The trains comprise 3 third AC, eight sleeper class, six general second class and two-second class-cum-luggage/differently-abled coaches.
Similarly, another train — no. 0885 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad weekly special will leave Visakhapatnam at 5.35 pm. on Tuesdays from Jan. 4 to Feb. 22 to reach Secunderabad on the next day at 7.10 am. In the return direction, train no. 08586 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special will leave Secunderabad at 9.05 p.m. on Wednesdays from Jan. 5 to Feb. 23 to reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 9.50 a.m.
These trains stop at Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda en route. They comprise one second AC, three third Ac, 10 sleeper class, six general second class and two-second class-cum-luggage/differently-abled coaches.
