Santosh Kumar Verma assumes charge as Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad
Santosh Kumar Verma, an IRSS officer of the 1995 batch, has taken charge as Divisional Railway Manager of Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway. A mechanical engineer from MMMUT with M Tech from IIT Kanpur, he earlier served in the Consumer Affairs Ministry
Hyderabad: Santosh Kumar Verma has taken charge of Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway.
He belongs to the Indian Railways Stores Service (IRSS), 1995 batch and before taking over charge of the new assignment as Divisional Railway Manager, was serving as Joint Secretary in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India.
Santosh Kumar Verma holds a BE (Bachelor of Engineering) in Mechanical Engineering from the Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT) and M Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
He has held various positions as Senior Divisional Materials Manager, Nagpur/South East Central Railway, Dy Chief Materials Manager/Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE)/Prayagraj.
He had also undergone training in Public Policy Management from prestigious institutes like Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, INSEAD, Singapore and ICLIF/Malaysia.
