Hyderabad: India’s oldest music label Saregama has teamed up with the superhit duo of popular singer Kanika Kapoor and the sizzling Sunny Leone to launch ‘Madhuban’ – the party number of the year! Choreographed and directed by Bollywood’s dance maestro Ganesh Acharya, the new track is high on energy aided with thumping beats and is poised to be everyone’s favourite year-end party number.
While Sunny and Kanika are a huge highlight of the song, what makes this single also special is that it features budding artistes, who were as chosen winners of Saregama’s coveted #ReelyFamous contest – a one-of-a-kind social media reel competition that the label held in collaboration with Instagram.
The first winner of the contest, Arindam Chakraborty, provides the male vocals, complementing the dynamic energy of Kanika Kapoor. The video of the song further features the second winner of the contest – Shivika Pratap Singh, who matches dance moves with the very proficient Sunny Leone.
The highly catchy music for this party number has been given by the famed duo Shaarib and Toshi, and lyrics are by the acclaimed lyricist Manoj Yadav.
The song has been exclusively released on the Instagram platform and will be out available as an IGTV video on the Saregama Instagram handle.
Kick-starting their Bollywood journey through the #ReelyFamous campaign, newcomer singer Arindam Chakraborty (Vicky) said: “What a great opportunity provided by Saregama and Instagram for amateurs like me. I enjoyed every moment of singing this song under the guidance of Shaarib-Toshi. Being the male part of a duet with a talented singer like Kanika Kapoor is exciting and challenging at the same time. I hope I have done a good job.”
Dancer Shivika Pratap Singh said: “I got to dance alongside the stunning Sunny Leone in a music video, which was being choreographed by the one and only Ganesh Acharyaji. What else can a newcomer want – this is a dream come true. I hope this opens avenues for my journey into the entertainment world.”
