Jagtial: Thatiparthi Shobha Rani, sarpanch of Bathikepalli of Pegadapalli mandal, was injured in an attack by a swarm of honey bees in the village on Monday.

Though she tried to run to her car for protection, the bees chased and stung her on her head, face and hands. Alert locals shifted her to a private hospital in Jagitial where she is undergoing treatment.
On coming to know about the incident, MLC T Jeevan Reddy visited the hospital and inquired about Shobha Rani condition.
