Hyderabad: Sports Authority of Telangana vice-chairman and managing director A Sonibala Devi has been conferred with a doctorate degree by the prestigious Osmania University.

Dr Sonibala Devi was awarded the doctorate for her remarkable research work on “Studies on the efficacy of Trichoderma spp. in the enhancement of phytochemical compounds in Gymnema sylvestre (Retz) R Br ex Sm collected from various districts of Telangana State.”


The doctorate degree was formally presented to her by the Governor of Telangana and Chancellor of Osmania University, Jishnu Dev Varma, in the august presence of Prof M Kumar Garu, Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University.

Telangana Sports Minister Mr Vakiti Srihari Garu and Mr Shivasena Reddy, SATG chairman, congratulated her.
