Satya Prakash assumes charge as Additional General Manager of South Central Railway at Secunderabad
Satya Prakash has taken charge as Additional General Manager of South Central Railway. A senior IRSE officer with 35 years of service, he has held key positions across Indian Railways and is an IIT Delhi graduate in Civil Engineering
Hyderabad: Satya Prakash assumed charge as Additional General Manager (AGM), South Central Railway on Monday at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.
Satya Prakash belongs to the 1988 batch of Indian Railways Service of Engineers (IRSE). Prior to the present assignment, he worked as Chief Administrative Officer (Construction), South Central Railway.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and has held several important posts during his 35 years of service on Indian Railways and had served including Director/Vigilance/Railway Board, Project Incharge/ IRCON/Malaysia, and Director/ Track/RDSO.
Some other important positions held by him are Principal Chief Engineer/ Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE), Dean/ Indian Railways Institute of Civil Engineering (IRICEN), Pune.
Satya Prakash had published three Technical papers on ‘Long Welded Rails’ on Girder Bridges.
