Satyadev’s many faces shine in Rao Bahadur Teaser
Satyadev’s upcoming film Rao Bahadur, directed by Venkatesh Maha, shows him in multiple avatars. The SS Rajamouli-launched teaser builds curiosity, with a Summer 2026 release set under Mahesh Babu’s banner.
Hyderabad: Satyadev reunites with director Venkatesh Maha for Rao Bahadur, a psychological drama that promises fresh intrigue after their successful collaboration on Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya.
The teaser, released online by director SS Rajamouli after a special screening in theatres, has impressed the audience. Satyadev appears in many different looks: a royal man, a beggar, a retro pop singer, and even a traditional teacher. The question is whether all these roles are played by the same person or if they exist only in the imagination of the main character inside the Bhuvanalaylam palace.
The story is set against the background of a once-powerful aristocratic family that is slowly fading away. The cast includes Vikas Muppala, Deepa Thomas, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, Kunal Kaushik, and Master Kiran.
Rao Bahadur is presented by Mahesh Babu under his GMB Entertainments banner. It is produced by Sri Chakraa Entertainments and A+S Movies in association with Mahayana Motion Pictures. Music is by Smaran Sai. The film is scheduled for a Summer 2026 release.
