SBI Hyderabad Circle beat Bhubaneswar 3-1 in Inter Circle football

SBI Hyderabad Circle defeated host Bhubaneswar Circle 3-1 in the Inter Circle football tournament at Bhubaneswar. Captain Prakash Rao scored the opener, while Syed Zaki Raza netted twice and assisted once to earn Player of the Match honours

Hyderabad: State Bank of India (Hyderabad Circle) registered a convincing 3-1 win against the host team, SBI Bhubaneswar Circle, in the State Bank of India Inter Circle football tournament at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on Monday.

The opening goal was scored by Hyderabad captain Prakash Rao, who headed the ball into the net from a well-delivered corner kick taken by Syed Zaki Raza.

The second goal came through Syed Zaki Raza, who showcased an excellent solo effort. Within a few minutes, Zaki Raza struck again, converting an assist from Digamber Rao to complete his brace.

With two goals and one assist, Syed Zaki Raza was adjudged Player of the Match.

In the dying minutes, Ajit Baskey of Bhubaneswar reduced the margin.

In the next fixture, Hyderabad Circle will take on Maharashtra Circle.
