SCCL RG-III area tops in coal production in June
The region produced 104 per cent of the target production in the first quarter of this financial year - April to June.
Peddapalli: Ramagundam-III area of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited topped in coal production among the 12 areas of the company, achieving 139 per cent of the target coal production in June.
Announcing this to media persons in Godavarikhani on Friday, General Manager, RG-III, A Manohar informed that the region produced 104 per cent of the target production in the first quarter of this financial year – April to June.
Despite Covid pandemic and heavy rainfall, the region set a record in producing the highest quantity of coal and achieving targets. Manohar congratulated all the employees’ trade union leaders for their team work and cooperation. Talking about administering the covid vaccine to employees, he informed that while 6,222 employees were vaccinated the first dose, 534 were vaccinated second dose.
He informed that they have decided to plant 1.69 lakh plants in RG-III area as part of Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme.
