SCCL secures gold and copper exploration licences in Karnataka
SCCL received licences from Union Minister G Kishan Reddy to explore gold and copper in Karnataka's Devadurga region. Won in a March auction covering 199 square kilometres, the handover occurred at a Hyderabad seminar.

Peddapalli: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has secured licences to explore gold and copper deposits in the Devadurga region of Karnataka.
Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy handed over the licences to SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Balram during the Critical Minerals Centre of Excellence seminar organised by the union Ministry of Mines at T-Hub, Hyderabad, on Tuesday.
Singareni had participated in the auction for critical minerals conducted by the union Ministry of Mines in March this year, winning exploration rights for gold and copper across 199 square kilometres in Devadurga with a royalty of 37.75 per cent.
The official licences and certificates were formally handed over on Tuesday.
