SCCL Srirampur Area produces 4.07 lakh tonnes of coal in September
The SCCL Srirampur Area produced 4.07 lakh tonnes of coal against its September target of 4.10 lakh tonnes, achieving 99 per cent. Its two Opencast Projects exceeded the target, while five underground mines recorded 95 per cent achievement during the month.

Mancherial: The SCCL Srirampur Area recorded an output of 4.07 lakh tonnes of coal against the target of 4.10 lakh tonnes in September, reflecting an average achievement of 99 per cent. The Area’s General Manager Muniganti Srinivas briefed media persons on the performance of the unit on Thursday.
Srinivas said the five underground mines belonging to the unit produced 1.14 lakh tonnes of coal, achieving 95 per cent of the target, while two Opencast Projects registered an output of 2.92 lakh tonnes of coal, achieving 101 per cent. He remarked that the OCPs improved their performance this month compared to their output in August.
According to the General Manager, an underground mine, IK 1A, recorded the lowest coal production, achieving 88 per cent of the monthly target, while IK OCP recorded the lowest performance, achieving only 60 per cent of the target. An OCP, SRP OC-II, surpassed the target with an achievement of 114 per cent, while an underground mine, SRP 1, recorded an output of 106 per cent.
