Kothagudem: Security guards and rescue team members of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), conducted a motorbike rally at Rudrampur here on Tuesday to create awareness on helmet use. The rally was organised under the aegis of Kothagudem Area S&PC Department, the company’s security wing.
Speaking on the occasion the special officer to GM, Koti Reddy said urged the motorcyclists to wear helmets approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). He said that wearing a helmet could save the lives of bike riders from road accidents. All Singareni employees should make it a habit to wear the helmet when going out on their respective two-wheelers for the well-being of their children and family members, he said.
Kothagudem Area TBGKS vice president Md Razak also appealed to the SCCL employees to wear helmets and remember that their family members would be waiting for their safe return home.
Senior security officer D Ramana Reddy, Mines Rescue in-charge Vikram Babu, senior PO Sudhakar, S&PC pit secretary Narasingam and others were present.
