Hyderabad: Following instructions of  Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to fill vacant posts in various government departments, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar said on Friday that as many as 651 vacant posts will be filled by March 2021.

These posts would be filled after conducting a written examination and the entire recruitment process would be carried out as per the rules prescribed by the State government after issuing a notification, he said. After State formation, the SCCL has so far recruited 13,934 people.

Of the 651 vacant posts, 569 come under the purview of the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA) while 82 posts were related to officials. As many as 10,000 people got jobs on compassionate and dependent grounds in the SCCL. An international circular would also be issued soon inviting applications for filling 1,436 posts, he said.
