SCCL to plant 2 lakh saplings as part of Haritha Haram programme

Adhering to safety protocols of Covid-19, officials and employees should take part in the day-long programme from 10 am on February 17

Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has decided to plant as many as two lakh saplings at different places in its jurisdiction on February 17 as part of Haritha Haram programme. The day also coincides with Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s birthday.

Adhering to safety protocols of Covid-19, officials and employees should take part in the day-long programme from 10 am on February 17. Since 2015, the Singareni has planted 4.59 crore saplings under its jurisdiction and necessary steps were also taken to protect them, an SCCL in a press release said.
