Hyderabad: In view of Covid-19 situation, the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Company is extending Covid medical treatment to its employees and their eligible dependents.

The facility is also extended to Contributory Post Retirement Medicare Scheme for Executives (CPRMSE) and Contributory Post Retirement Medicare Scheme for Non-Executives (CPRMSNE) and all the SCCL beneficiaries by establishing ICUs, isolation wards and quarantine centers in all SCCL areas.

However, a few beneficiaries may be required to avail medical treatment for Covid on their own due to urgency and prevailing situations, a SCCL circular said.

Representations have been received from the recognised union to the competent authority, requesting to reimburse the bills incurred for Covid treatment on their own in emergency situations.

The SCCL, in the circular, said it accorded approval for reimbursement of medical bills submitted by on-roll employees, CPRMSNE and CPRMSE members for Covid medical treatment taken on their own against admissions at empanelled/non-empanelled hospitals on par with Covid tariff of NIMS/tariff paid to the empanelled hospitals/CGHS rates.
