SCCL to regularise 1258 badili workers as general assistants category-1

SCCL has regularised 1,258 badili workers who completed 190 and 240 musters in underground and opencast mines. Workers who completed one-year service by December 31, 2024, will be regularised, covering areas including Ramagundam, Bhupalpally, Srirampur, and Kothagudem

Kothagudem: The SCCL management has issued orders regularising 1,258 badili workers who have completed 190 and 240 musters in underground and opencast mines or on surface, as general assistant category-1.

The decision came after discussions between company CMD N Balaram and director (personnel) Gautam Potru with the recognised trade union, Singareni Collieries Workers Union.


The management stated that workers who have completed one-year service on or before December 31, 2024, will be regularised. Following this, the general manager (personnel), IR and PM, issued a circular to all areas on Wednesday seeking regularisation proposals.

Area-wise details of badili workers eligible for regularisation are: 303 in Ramagundam-2 area, 250 in Bhupalpally, 241 in Srirampur, 167 in Ramagundam-3 and Adriyala areas, 156 in Ramagundam-1, 64 in Mandamarri, 21 in the corporate area, 20 in Kothagudem, 19 in Manuguru, 11 in Bellampalli, and six in Yellandu area.
