Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Director (Personnel and Finance) N Balaram on Friday requested Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation Commissioner Samiran Dutta to continue PF contribution to employees till 61 years.

Since the SCCL has increased the retirement age of employees from 60 to 61 years following directions from the State government, the organization must take necessary steps to continue PF contribution till 61 years. Dutta also discussed the technology utilized in Singareni to increase the production to meet coal requirements.
