Kothagudem: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has been organising multi-departmental team meetings with officers and union representatives in all the eleven areas of the company.

Kothagudem area general manager Shalem Raju informed that meetings were being organised at the directions of the SCCL CMD N Balram Naik. The meetings were aimed at making the employees know the status of the company and their responsibility in increasing the quality, production, productivity and taking the company forward with collective effort, he said.


In Kothagudem area the meetings were being organised from December 10 to 14. A review meeting was held with the officers and union representatives of the area on organising the multi-department team meetings and its need, he said.

The multi-departmental team meetings were being organised in all opencast and underground mines to boost morale of the employees. Such a meeting was held at Kistaram opencast mine at Sathupalli in Khammam district on Thursday.

The opencast mine project officer, MV Narasimha Rao appealed to the employees to make collective efforts to increase the quality of coal production and productivity for the growth of the company.

DGM (IED) N Yohan explained the purpose of the multi-department team meeting and made a powerpoint presentation on production, machinery work, production cost and the welfare programmes being implemented by the company for the benefit of the employees. The employees took a pledge to strive to achieve coal production goals and for the company’s growth.
