COVID Crisis (Jyoti Prakash) Support Scholarship Program 2021

The scholarship program aims to support children who are left vulnerable and with very little or no financial support for their further education owing to a Covid-led crisis in their family.
Eligibility: Open for Indian students from Class 1 to Graduation. Those who have been through any of the following crisis situation – loss of parent(s)/earning family member since January 2020 or loss of job/employment of an earning family member, can apply.

NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers – Pre-Matric 2021-22

An initiative for the students of Class 1 to 10 to ensure that no child is working in any hazardous sector as labour.
Eligibility: Open for the candidates who have passed the last examination on the first attempt and enrolled in Classes 1 to 10 at a government/government-recognized school. The candidates can avail the benefits only if one or both parents of the applicants is working as a beedi worker, iron ore, manganese & chrome ore mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines (LSDM), cine workers for at least last six months and the monthly income of the family is less than Rs 10,000 from all the sources except in the case of cine workers whose family income is less than RS 8,000 per month or Rs 1,00,000 per annum.

IIT BHU Varanasi School of Biochemical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021

A research opportunity offered to bachelor’s/master’s degree holders witih selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled – “Characterization of Indigenous Cow’s Dung and Urine for Scientific Advancement and Development of Utility Items”.
Eligibility: For the candidate who is below 28 years of age and holds a Master’s degree in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline with a minimum of 60% or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) and a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline with a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale). Also, the candidate must have two years of professional experience with GATE or NET qualification.
