Mancherial: Students and management from Ethic Academy School appreciated the police department for installing a traffic signaling system at important junctions in the town. They called on DCP A Bhaskar here on Wednesday and thanked him by presenting hand-made drawings and letters.
Speaking on the occasion, the students said that the installation of signals helped them learn traffic norms. They opined that traffic signals, once limited to rhymes, stories, and classroom discussions, have now become a visible and practical learning tool for pre-primary and primary students. They thanked the police for signal installation which benefitted the students in many ways.
School Director NS Charan Reddy said the police initiative went beyond its primary purpose. “It has contributed to the learning community. For children across Mancherial town, traffic signals are no longer just concepts—they are real and meaningful,” he remarked. Principal Lakshmi Reddy, teachers and ASI Saleem were present.
