Hyderabad: With the State government deciding to reopen all the educational institutions from September 1, the schools across the State are gearing up for the same.
As schools are reopening after several months of closure, the sanitation works are being carried out in government run schools across the State. Accordingly, the School Education and Municipal Administration departments have been entrusted with the task of overseeing the works being executed in the schools.
In fact, the School Education department has deputed its senior officials to the districts to inspect implementation of its guidelines and readiness of schools including, government, local body, residential, model schools, KGBVs and private schools at the district and school level as well.
Meanwhile, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy conducted a surprise inspection in Aliya School here on Friday. She instructed officials concerned and teachers to take all Covid-19 safety measures.
She also instructed teachers to closely monitor students’ health. If any student was found with symptoms, he/she should be immediately taken to the hospital and get the tests done, she said. The Minister directed the officials to demolish the dilapidated building on the school premises and develop a playground in the same place.
