SCR announces temporary train halts at Hyderabad stations for Dasara rush
The South Central Railway has introduced temporary stoppages of select trains at Hitec City, Lingampalli, and Charlapalli stations from September 26 to October 5. The move aims to ease festive rush at Secunderabad Junction and benefit IT corridor commuters

Hyderabad: To ease festive passenger crowds at Secunderabad railway station during the Dasara festive season, the South Central Railway has announced temporary stoppages of select trains at Hitec City, Lingampalli and Charlapalli railway stations from September 26 to October 5.
Hitec City station: Trains including Visakhapatnam–Lingampalli (12805/12806), Visakhapatnam–Mumbai LTT (18519/18520), Kazipet–Hadapsar (17014/17013) will halt here briefly.
Hitec City and Charlapalli stations: Narasapur–Lingampalli (17255/17256) and Kakinada Town–Lingampalli (12775/12776) services will stop at both stations.
Charlapalli station: Danapur–Secunderabad (12791/12792) express trains are given additional halts.
Lingampalli station: Additional stoppages for Rajkot, Porbandar, Tirupati, and Mumbai trains (22717/22718, 20967/20968, 12731/12732, 12701/12702) have been provided.
SCR said these temporary halts are aimed at decongesting Secunderabad Junction and providing greater convenience for IT corridor passengers and suburban travellers during the festive rush.
