Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) is implementing Covid-19 protocols strictly in view of prevailing pandemic situation across the country. All passengers have been advised to wear face masks at stations as well as all through the journey without fail.
They are also requested to strictly maintain social distancing at the stations and during the journey as well. In the wake of the situation, rail users are advised not to travel by trains if they tested positive for Covid or have symptoms of the virus, like fever, cough, severe body pains, breathlessness etc.
Thermal scanning equipment is installed at all the major railway stations to detect passengers with high temperature. If anybody is found with high temperature, they will not be allowed to travel. ‘No mask no entry’ rule is also being strictly implemented at all railway stations, officials said.
Passengers are also requested to check the state-wise protocols of their destination stations so as to have a smooth and hassle free train journey.
