SCR General Manager takes stock of works at Hyderabad division

SCR GM Gajanan Mallya nspected the newly constructed Road Under Bridge in lieu of Level Crossing Gate No 14 between Umdanagar – Timmapur and rain water drain system under RUB

Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Gajanan Mallya on Monday inspected the Kacheguda-Falaknuma-Mahabubnagar-Kurnool- Dhone section in Hyderabad Division.

The General Manager commenced the inspection from Falaknuma Railway Station. He inspected the newly constructed Road Under Bridge in lieu of Level Crossing Gate No 14 between Umdanagar – Timmapur and rain water drain system under RUB to facilitate road users. Later, he inspected Balanagar and Gollapalli Railway stations enroute and discussed on station development plans with the officials.

At Mahabubnagar, the General Manager inaugurated the improved goods platform, Energy Neutral Health Unit and Senior Section Engineer, Permanent Way Office. He also inaugurated 20 KWp on Grid Solar Power Plant for Health Unit and newly built Type-III quarters for the convenience of staff.

The General Manager comprehensively inspected Mahabubnagar Railway Station and reviewed the development works. Enroute, he also inspected the safety measures on Krishna Bridge between Gadwal and Sriramnagar and checked passenger amenities and various facilities available at Gadwal Railway Station.

He inaugurated a Crew Booking Lobby, Crew Rest Room and interacted with Gangmen, besides inaugurating Miyawaki tree plantation programme on the station premises. At Poodor Railway Station, the General Manager inaugurated a tool cum rest Room for track maintainers.

Later, between Podoor – Itikyala – Manopad stations, the General Manager inspected Road under Bridges constructed for the convenience of road users. According to a press release, he proceeded further to Kurnool and participated in different programmes.
