SCR GM urges staff to prioritize Hindi language

Hyderabad: South Central Railway General Manager Gajanan Mallya advised officers and employees to be proficient in Hindi and do most of their work in the official language, during the Zonal Official Language Implementation Committee meeting, held virtually on December 14.

Several senior officials of SCR also attended the meeting which was organised by Rajbhasha Department.

During the meeting, the GM laid special emphasis on organising web-based workshops, seminars and other training programmes. He also opined that working in Hindi by higher officials will motivate subordinate officers and employees to work in Hindi.

In the e-office also work should be done in Hindi and in this regard help of Rajbhasha Department shall be taken.
