SCR inaugurates CT Scan facility worth Rs. 5.42 crore at Central Railway Hospital
Until now, investigations such as CT Scan brain, CT chest, CT Abdomen were being outsourced and the new CT scan facility would be convenient for all Railway beneficiaries and will also help to reduce the referral expenditure, the SCR said in a press release
Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager, Arun Kumar Jain, inaugurated new facilities including a new CT scan facility worth Rs. 5.42 crores, at Central Railway Hospital, Lallaguda.
Until now, investigations such as CT Scan brain, CT chest, CT Abdomen were being outsourced and the new CT scan facility would be convenient for all Railway beneficiaries and will also help to reduce the referral expenditure, the SCR said in a press release.
A medicinal plant garden, which has been developed in the hospital premises with 20 varieties of medicinal plants like Tulsi, Aloevera, Lemon grass, insulin plant etc, was also inaugurated. An Ayurvedic doctor would be available at the hospital for guidance on the medicinal plants.
The SCR GM also inaugurated a fast food canteen in the first floor of OPD block which will cater to Railway beneficiaries and a four-wheel parking facility in front of the dormitory.
Dr. Nirmala Rajaram, Principal Chief Medical Director, SCR, Lokesh Vishnoi, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, Dr. I. Siva Naga Prasad, Medical Director, Central Hospital, Lallaguda, Principal Heads of the Departments and other senior officials from Headquarters & Division were also present on the occasion, the press release added.
