SCR launches summer special ‘Bharat Gaurav’ trains for pilgrims from Telugu States

The South Central Railway launches summer Bharat Gaurav tourist trains for Telugu pilgrims from April 14 to June 12, covering Ayodhya, Kashi, Haridwar, Mata Vaishno Devi, Rameswaram, and Chidambaram. Bookings open via IRCTC website and helpline numbers.

Hyderabad: For the benefit of pilgrims from Telugu States, the South Central Railway (SCR) has announced various summer special Bharat Gaurav tourist trains between April 14 and June 12.

The Ayodhya–Kashi: Baidyanath Dham Darshan Yatra (SCZBG56) will cover Puri – Konark – Baidyanath Dham – Varanasi – Ayodhya – Prayagraj, with the journey date being between April 28 and May 7. The fare per person is Sleeper Class: Rs 16,700, 3AC: Rs 26,100 and 2AC: Rs 34,100.

This train will start from Secunderabad and pass through Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Duvvada, Pendurthi, and Vizianagaram.

Meanwhile, Haridwar – Mata Vaishno Devi – Rishikesh Yatra will travel Mathura – Vrindavan – Mata Vaishno Devi – Haridwar – Rishikesh with journey dates being May 12 to 21. The fare per person is Sleeper Class: Rs 16,500, 3AC: Rs 25,700 and 2AC: Rs 33,400. This train will start from Secunderabad and pass through Bhuvanagiri, Jangaon, Kazipet, Peddapalli, Mancherial, Bellampalli, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Balharshah, Wardha and Nagpur.

Also, Arunachalam – Chidambaram Divya Dakshina Yatra will travel Tiruvannamalai (Arunachalam) – Rameswaram – Madurai –Kanyakumari – Trichy – Thanjavur – Chidambaram with the journey dates being May 24 to 31. The fare is Sleeper Class: Rs 14,500, 3AC: Rs 21,700 and 2AC: Rs 27,900. This train will start from Secunderabad and pass through Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, and Renigunta.

Meanwhile, Ayodhya–Kashi Yatra with Baidyanath Dham – Special for Yamuna Pushkaralu will cover Puri – Konark – Baidyanath Dham – Varanasi – Ayodhya – Prayagraj between June 3 and 12. The fare is Sleeper Class: Rs 16,700, 3AC: Rs 26,100 and 2AC: Rs 34,100. This train will start from Secunderabad and pass through Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Duvvada, Pendurthi, and Vizianagaram.
