Hyderabad: Following revision in the schedule, the Kacheguda–Yesvantpur–Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express (Train Nos. 20703/20704) will now remain cancelled every Friday, instead of its earlier non-operational day on Wednesdays.
Similarly, the Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam–Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express (Train Nos. 20707/20708) will not run on Mondays, replacing its earlier Thursday cancellation.
The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced revisions to the weekly non-operational days of four Vande Bharat Express services, bringing changes that came into effect from Friday. The modifications were approved by the Railway Board and are part of an operational rationalisation exercise, officials said.
Railway officials said that the shift was made to streamline rake maintenance and improve overall service efficiency. Authorities clarified that there will be no changes to the timings, stoppages or overall frequency of these premier trains, assuring passengers that regular operations on other days will continue as usual. The changes aim to enhance fleet utilisation and maintain punctuality standards across the zone.
The revised weekly schedule has been updated across railway information systems, and passengers who had booked tickets on the newly declared non-operational days are advised to check refund options or plan alternative travel arrangements.
