SCR to run special trains for Diwali

Hyderabad: In order to clear the passenger rush during Diwali, the South Central Railways (SCR) will be running weekly special trains between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.
Train numbers 08585 (from Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad) and 08586 (from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam) will run on November 2 and 3 respectively. While train number 08585 will commence its journey at 5.35 pm and reach Secunderabad at 7.10 am the next day; train number 08586 will leave Secunderabad at 9.05 pm and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 9.50 am the next day. The trains will stop at Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Miryalguda, and Nalgonda, and will have AC II tier, AC III tier, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
Similarly, train numbers 08583 (from Visakhapatnam to Tirupati) and 08584 (from Tirupati to Visakhapatnam) will run on November 1 and 2 respectively. While train number 08583 will commence its journey at 7.15 pm and reach Secunderabad at 7.30 am the next day; train number 08584 will leave Tirupati at 9.55 pm and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 10.20 am the next day. The trains will stop at Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta, and will have AC II tier, AC III tier, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
SCR also plans to extend the run of train number 08197 (from TATA to Kacheguda) and 08198 (from Kacheguda to TATA). The trains will run on November 5 and 6 respectively.
