Nirmal: A 41-year-old reporter working with a television news channel succumbed to Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad on Friday.
The deceased was Jindelwar Sainath from Thanur mandal centre. Sainath tested positive for Covid-19 a few days ago. His final rites were performed in Bhainsa following the protocol of Covid-19. His colleagues and friends expressed grief over the demise of the scribe.
Journalists of erstwhile Adilabad district sought Telangana Press Academy to extend Covid-19 relief to the kin of Sainath and the government to grant financial aid to them.
