Hyderabad: The Andhra Premier League (APL) Season 4, organised by Andhra Cricket Association and sanctioned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will feature seven teams.
Franchises representing all three regions of the State have stepped up with renewed enthusiasm.
From the South Zone, teams include RK Sports, Akshara Enterprises India Pvt. Ltd., and Vijetha Super Market Pvt. Ltd.; the Central Zone is represented by Aparna Marine Exports and Mythri Movie Makers; and the North Zone features Marlin Global Energy Pvt. Ltd. and Steel Exchange India Ltd.

The tournament’s commencement date will be announced shortly, with preparations in full swing to deliver a professionally managed and high-impact sporting event. In a commendable initiative, the APL governing council has announced that revenues from season 4 will be directed toward the development of grassroots cricket, with special emphasis on supporting young boys and girls across the State.
“A bold new chapter begins! The arrival of our franchise teams is more than just growth—it’s the rise of a new cricketing spirit in Andhra Pradesh. Together, we’re not just building a league; we’re crafting a legacy. With passion in every play and purpose in every step, the Andhra Premier League is poised to unite communities, ignite dreams, and empower future champions,” said Kesineni Sivanath, honorary president, ACA

“We are thrilled to welcome our new franchises into the Andhra Premier League family. Their arrival marks a defining moment in our journey to elevate cricket in Andhra Pradesh,” Sana Sathish Babu, ACA secretary, said.
“These teams will not only energise the spirit of competition but also foster a deeper connection between our league and the passionate fans across the State. The enthusiasm and professionalism shown by each franchise is a reflection of the bright future ahead,” the ACA secretary said.

For his part, Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, chairman of APL governing council, said that a new era would begin and with passion in our hearts and purpose in our stride, the franchise teams will be welcomed to a league built on dreams, grit, and glory.
