Second year B Tech student ends life in his hostel room in Shamshabad
The student was identified as N Avinash (19), a second year Mechanical Engineering student of a private engineering college, who stayed in a private boys’ hostel in Shamshabad
Hyderabad: A student of a private engineering college died by suicide by hanging in his hostel room at R.B.Nagar in Shamshabad on the city outskirts on Saturday. The reason for the suicide was not known.
The student was identified as N Avinash (19), a second year Mechanical Engineering student of a private engineering college, who stayed in a private boys’ hostel in Shamshabad.
According to the police, Avinash was reportedly upset for the past few days and mostly stayed in his room without interacting much with his friends. He hanged himself from the ceiling fan in the room with a bedsheet in the afternoon.
The hostel authorities, on being alerted by Avinash’s friends, shifted him to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
The RGIA police booked a case and said all possible angles would be probed.
