Secunderabad-Danapur Express bogies separated from engine

The train heading towards Danapur was separated following coupling issues between power car bogie and the engine.

Hyderabad: Passengers of Secunderabad-Danapur Express on Tuesday faced tense moments after the bogies in which they were travelling got separated from the engine.

The incident took place near Station Ghanpur at around 11 am. The train heading towards Danapur was separated following coupling issues between power car bogie and the engine.

According to South Central Railway, the train engine got separated and moved a few metres away from power car. “Our loco-pilot immediately noticed the issue and resolved it,” an official said.

The train which was resumed its journey with a delay of 35 minutes is expected to reach the destination as per time, officials added.
