Secunderabad police arrest three-member gang in East Marredpally robbery
A three-member gang involved in a house robbery at East Marredpally was arrested by Secunderabad Task Force and Lalaguda Police. Gold ornaments and mobile phones worth Rs 4.5 lakh were recovered, and the suspects had fled to Karnataka after the crime.

Hyderabad: In a joint operation, the Task Force (Secunderabad Zone) and Lalaguda Police on Tuesday arrested a three-member robbery gang involved in a house robbery at East Marredpally earlier this month.
The arrested suspects have been identified as G Mahesh, Ch Pavan Kumar alias Bavanna and G Surendra, all natives of Sri Sathya Sai district in Andhra Pradesh.
The trio allegedly entered an apartment in Lalaguda, forcibly confined and assaulted a woman and robbed gold ornaments weighing about nine tolas.
According to the police, Mahesh, a former watchman at the apartment complex, used his familiarity with the premises and residents’ routines to plan the robbery with his associates. After committing the offence, the trio fled Hyderabad and later travelled to Karnataka, where they shared the stolen property.
The suspects were traced and nabbed near Secunderabad Railway Station during the early hours of, following sustained surveillance by multiple special teams.
Police recovered gold ornaments weighing 28.8 grams and two mobile phones, altogether worth Rs 4.5 lakh.
