Secunderabad Stallions defeats Charminar Chargers in Hyderabad basketball league

Secunderabad Stallions dominated Charminar Chargers 36-8 in the Hyderabad District Sub-Junior and Youth League Basketball Championship at YMCA Secunderabad. Sudeeksha led the scoring with 18 points, while Anya and Mahima contributed nine each in the comfortable victory.

Hyderabad: Secunderabad Stallions scored an easy 36-8 win against Charminar Chargers after leading 20 – 6 at half time in the Hyderabad district sub-Junior and youth league basketball championship at YMCA Secunderabad here on Thursday.

Anya and Yakshita combined well for Secunderabad Stallions to score 11 points and did not allow Charminar Chargers to open its account.

In the second quarter, Charminar Chargers scored six points thorugh Sahasra and Kavya.

However, Mahima and Sudeeksha added nine points to their tally as Secunderabad Stallions led 20 – 6 at half time.

After the half-time, Secunderabad Stallions continued in the same fashion and scored 16 more points to clinch the issue.
