Security guard dies after falling from building in Banjara Hills

A 22-year-old security guard, Upender Singh, died after allegedly falling from a residential building in Banjara Hills early Sunday. Police suspect he slipped from the terrace while under the influence of alcohol. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.

HYDERABAD: A security guard reportedly died after falling from a building in Banjara Hills in the early hours of Sunday.

The deceased, Upender Singh (22), a resident of Banjara Hills and a native of Haryana, worked as a security guard at a company in Gachibowli. He returned home from work on Saturday night and was later found dead on the ground.


The building’s watchman informed Upender Singh’s wife that he had fallen from the seventh floor and died. Police suspect that Upender, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, slipped and fell from the terrace of the building. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
