Hyderabad: A senior advocate died allegedly after suffering a heart attack while paying a challan at a bank in Marredpally, Secunderabad on Wednesday afternoon.
The advocate, Venkata Ramana, a resident of Tarnaka had come to the West Marredpally Indian Bank branch to pay for the challan. Even as he was waiting for his turn, suddenly he suffered a heart attack and collapsed in the bank premises.
Other customers who were present in the bank, with the help of the bank staff rushed to rescue and managed to shift the advocate quickly to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
Earlier on Tuesday, another advocate, P Venugopal Rao, who was presenting his arguments before the judge at Court No.21 in Telangana High Court suddenly suffered a heart attack and collapsed in the courtroom. He died while being shifted to the hospital.
The death of two advocates in two days consecutively has raised concerns amongst the advocate community in the city.
