Senior Congress leader from Ramayampet joins BRS
The Congress Party in Medak district faced a setback ahead of municipal elections as senior leader Suprabath Rao, along with his followers, joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Hyderabad.

Medak: Congress party suffered a jolt in Ramayampet municipality ahead of municipal elections as senior Congress leader Suprabath Rao joined BRS along with his followers in the presence of former minister T Harish Rao in Hyderabad on Friday.
Accompanied by BRS district president M Padma Devendar Reddy, senior leader K Tirupathi Reddy and others, Suprabath Rao met Harish Rao at his residence. Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said that BRS would emerge victorious in all the municipalities in erstwhile Medak district.
He called upon the newly joined leaders to expose the Congress government’s failures. Suprabath Rao said that he decided to join BRS as he did not get due recognition within the Congress.
