Hyderabad: Senior IPS officer Charu Sinha formally assumed charge as the Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Telangana, on Wednesday.

Sinha, a 1996 batch officer who previously served the ACB in various capacities, including Joint Director, Director and in-charge Director General, and is credited with key contributions in strengthening its operations.


After taking charge, Sinha reiterated her commitment to intensifying ACB’s efforts in combating corruption, ensuring transparency in governance, and protecting public interest.

She further emphasised that the Bureau will continue its proactive role in fostering accountability and public confidence.
