Hyderabad: Senior orthopaedic surgeon Dr T Dasaradha Rama Reddy, along with his daughter Dr Sravya Tetali, on Thursday accepted the Green India Challenge initiative of Rajya Sabha MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar. The father and daughter duo on Thursday planted saplings on the holy hills of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala.

While accepting the call of Rajya Sabha MP to take up Green India Challenge, the senior doctor quoted a Chinese proverb “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the next best time is now”.

“What more, this coinciding with Doctors Day has made it even more special for us,” the Orthopaedic surgeon added.
